Amy & Bikesh 11.08.2018
Ceremony & reception: Palmerstown House Estate
Amy from Blarney & Bikesh from Nepal now living in Manchester, along with dozens of Corkconians & Nepalese friends and family came together as one for a beautiful affair filled with colour and blessed with love. Amy & Bikesh couldn’t speak highly enough of the venue and in particular Sinead McGoldrick “she was fantastic. She had everything perfectly planned, and was incredibly flexible. We were still adding and removing guests to our guest list on the morning of the wedding!, she really was amazing! Seeing how both sides of the wedding party mixed and celebrated together was wonderful, you really got a feeling a pure elation around the venue.
Another huge shout out to Kate Corway who made sure that the flowers suited the unique feel of the wedding. “She made sure she knew all about it”, and had Amy send over photos to get a feel for how colourful an Asian wedding is.
Before the traditional Nepalese dance I took a few minutes with the bride & groom outside and we managed to really create some magic in a matter of minutes (i’m always thinking of the couple and never want to take them away from their guests and celebrations for longer than is needed). The evening was capped off with Tow the Line Wedding band, they also provided the reception music earlier in the day, before dancing into the night with a upbeat dj set, Amy & Bikesh added“They are fantastic singers and musicians, and really got the party going. They managed to keep everyone on the dance floor, keeping it upbeat, and playing all of our favourites.
