How many photos do you deliver?
Every wedding day is different... usually around 600-700 fully edited photos. All photos are polished & delivered watermark free in high resolution.
Do I have an option to download the photos from the online gallery for printing?
Absolutely! As many times as you want, knock yourself out! You can also order prints from the store.
Could we include the groom preparations?
Distance and time depending, always good to discuss these things before the wedding day. An option of a second photographer is available until the meal call 6pm or first dance 10pm. However if you guys are both prepping at the same venue then it's absolutely no problem whatsoever to pap you both.
What’s the average cost of a wedding photographer in Ireland, how do you price your packages?
The same principal applies to buying a car as applies to booking a wedding photographer. If you go cheap it might end up costing you a lot more in the long term. I value quality over quantity.
Do you do family photos?
No, Just kidding! Of course, bring them all along (but please for the love of god not to the couple sessions, 33's a crowd) We'll make it snappy and always good craic!
How long will we spend away from our wedding party?
The question on everyone's lips.... A session with a couple usually takes around 15-20 minutes, if there are more than one location then you know yourself! I always suggest bringing along the wedding crew for the giggles and making sure the grooms hair is on point! I love stepping outside the box or climbing up a pole or halfway up a viaduct. Anything to make you guys happy!
Do you edit all the photos and how long before we get to see a preview?
Like a pro! Editing is an art of its own, i'm a less is more guy. Great photos don't need too much work, but a great photo can always look greater! Depending on time of year but I usually have a selection of photos or a nice shiny instagram reel within the week and the full edit will be delivered around 4-8 weeks after the wedding day.
How long does it take for the album to be ready and how many images are selected?
Once the final selection has been agreed upon, please allow a minimum of 6 weeks for production and delivery. The albums contain approx 100-120 images from the 600-700 final edit.
You know Kilkenny City really well but we're not so into the Castle Photos do you have any other suggestions?
Absolutely. I have covered every inch of Kilkenny City over the past 7 years shooting weddings. Kilkenny Castle is an incredible venue for wedding pictures but it isn't for everyone I understand this. As a local I know all the little nooks and crannies around the City, we have streetscapes, greenery, rivers, medieval miles, Wolfwalkers and the very best pubs in the county. I am an expert in all things Kilkenny wedding related (just don't ask me about Hurling.)
Do you travel nationwide?
Yes 100% open to traveling anywhere and everywhere.
How do I book you and how much is the deposit?
Once a €300 deposit is paid the date is yours. I cannot hold dates as it's a first come first served basis. Get in touch via email or give me a call and we can discuss. We can take payments via Revolut, IBAN or carrier pigeon.

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer is an important aspect of getting the ball rolling. We have found over the years that approximately 9-18 months is typically the safest option to get the right wedding photographer for your big day.
